This blog was originally created to share some of my life experiences. Sometimes I think my life is either uninteresting or liable to attract trolls so I don't publish anything. Recently I have been posting videos that I find interesting, some showing things I believe so I don't see the point in making something similar. More recently I have been having some life experiences that seem completely ridiculous, so I am thinking of going back to blogging my own experiences again. What triggered this? Today I was sent a survey asking me for my opinion about a service I received on the NHS. When I clicked "send", after a lot of typing, it promptly told me that my session had timed out. Well, not a problem, I'll just copy my text, redo the survey, and paste it into the new survey. Unfortunately, the programmer was a complete moron! I clicked to clear the error message and the page refreshed, clearing what I had typed. Too many current day programmers working on corporate websites seem unable to predict what people are likely to do, and how various disabilities, especially visual, prevent the easy use of a lot of modern websites.
Anyway, that's my first rant of the day. There may be a second if I can bother to retype what I had type to the NHS.
Carl.
